Hyundai suck

Whoever signed off their Superbowl advert should be sacked.

How come I hear you say? Well, they mocked vegans / plant-based eating.

Their advert featured an elevator that stops at different so-called, unpleasant experiences. For example, going to a dentist for a root canal and sitting on the middle seat of an airplane. They then stop at the vegan dinner party, where a woman offers people in the elevator some ‘beetloaf‘.

Ok, very funny. Ha, ha. Everyone loves a joke. But not at the expense of health, morality and the environment.

What has enraged a lot of people is the fact they perpetuate the myth of vegan eating being something bad or weird.

Far from it. It’s one, if not THE biggest food trend right now and for good reason. Once you become educated on what really goes on in the dairy industry, the evidence that meat is literally killing us and the fact that avoiding meat and dairy is ‘single biggest way’ to reduce your impact on Earth, you suddenly get an understanding that we are being lied to (from a very early age).

I was a burger munching, fish-eating, and cheese loving person for 45 years but changed to a plant-based, whole food way of eating back in 2017.

I’ve never felt better.

I’m now not comfortable eating animals who have suffered. Essentially we are paying to eat animals where we have paid someone to kill them. How fucked up is that?

I never thought I would be writing something like this… Too many people live in complete denial about what they are putting in their mouth. There is also the bizarre scenario of people doting on the pet dog or cat, yet wouldn’t dream of sticking them on the BBQ. Yet we do that for pigs, lambs and chickens. Huh? They are all sentient creatures that want a life without suffering.

Once people open their eyes and educate themsleves (and this can be as simple as watching a documentary) instead of believing the marketing they are accustomed to, everything comes into sharp focus.
